Chickens give as good as they get. Our organic eggs are from chickens who enjoy sunlight, freedom to peck and nibble on pasture grub, and fresh air at the foot of the Cordilleras. They are also nurtured on a natural diet of fermented plants, fish with added rice bran, and powdered oyster shells. A Penn State U study found that organic chicken eggs analyzed, had three times more omega-3 fatty acids, 40% more Vit.A, and twice as much Vit.E, than eggs from caged hens. Another health concern is that commercially grown caged hens have been found to have residues of antibiotics and veterinary drugs in their tissues and eggs.
